Hi, I'm Elista Berliana!
I am a native Indonesian speaker from Bali, Indonesia. I have been teaching English to children and adults in Indonesia since 2010 but I also teach Bahasa Indonesia in Indonesia as well as Florida, USA, both in person and online since 2018. I own TEFL/TESL certificate from ITA Chicago, USA, and Indonesian Instructor Certificate from APBIPA BALI. I am a Bachelor of English Language Education and Master of School Management.
Language is my lifelong passion, and I am honored to be a part of your journey of English skills. I become an English teacher because I love English (even Grammar!). I wish to work with people coming from different cultural background. Years later, I am still honored to be able to learn from you, my students, as much as I wish that you will learn a lot from me.
I am a language learner myself and have also been learning German recently. I live In Bali, Indonesia. And work daily to improve my language skills.
I spend my spare time enjoying sunbathing on the beach, playing with my dogs, reading, writing my blog, doing Pilates and other physical exercises.

You can expect to receive personalized feedback about your errors during each lesson. Together, we analyze and correct your errors, and I will provide clues about "why" the mistakes happen.

Each person has their own goal, target, and special preference when learning English and Indonesian. I adjust my lesson to fulfill your particular needs.
Enthusiasm
Learning additional language is serious; but it needs to be fun and enjoyable. I believe in laughter and levity during the lesson and feel that learning occurs when we are not even aware of it.
